Congressman Greg Landsman, who has been representing Ohio’s 1st District since 2023, recently took to social media to discuss ongoing efforts regarding a case involving an individual named Ayman. Landsman, who succeeded Steve Chabot and is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, addressed the public via Twitter on July 11, 2025.

In his first tweet "We have been working on Ayman’s case for months – well before this became public." posted on July 11, 2025, Landsman indicated that efforts concerning Ayman's situation had been underway long before it attracted public attention.

He further elaborated in a subsequent post "While we cannot go into every detail, we are working to ensure Ayman receives due process, are pushing for him to be treated fairly, and are doing everything we can to keep him here at home." This statement underscores the commitment of Landsman's office to ensuring fairness and due process in the proceedings affecting Ayman.

In another message shared shortly thereafter "We have secured a commitment that Ayman will be able to stay in Ohio for the time being – prior to his next appearances before the immigration court.", Landsman confirmed that arrangements have been made for Ayman to remain in Ohio until his forthcoming court appearances.

Greg Landsman was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and holds a BA from Ohio University. He continues to reside in Cincinnati while serving his congressional duties.
