Congressman Greg Landsman, who has represented Ohio’s 1st District in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently shared several updates on social media covering legislative efforts, community engagement, and federal policy criticism.

On July 13, 2025, Landsman addressed the process for selecting leadership at the Federal Bureau of Prisons. He stated, "Whoever leads the Federal Bureau of Prisons should be confirmed by Congress. Our bipartisan bill would require this new level of accountability."

The following day, July 14, 2025, Landsman reflected on a local event aimed at supporting families with young children. He wrote, "A great time at our 3rd annual Preschool and Popsicles event. We helped families register their kids for preschool and connected them with local resources. Looking forward to next year."

Later that same day, Landsman commented on recent actions by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), stating his concerns about their approach. He posted, "On ICE raids: This is chaotic. It’s not good policy, it’s terrible politics. That’s what Americans are seeing…chaos."

Greg Landsman was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and continues to reside there. He graduated from Ohio University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
