Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on July 17, 2025, addressing public broadcasting, partisanship in government, and healthcare policy.
In a tweet posted at 17:52 UTC, Landsman highlighted the importance of public media for local communities: "Public TV and radio matter — especially in our small communities. We’re fighting to protect them."
Later that evening at 20:54 UTC, he criticized what he described as partisan behavior from the current administration and referenced Project 2025: "The assignment from this administration is always hyper-partisan. Leads to the corruption, chaos, and cruelty we see playing out every day. This guy also wrote Project 2025…I hate everything about this."
At 23:47 UTC on the same day, Landsman addressed concerns over recent healthcare policy changes affecting Ohio residents: "This is just the beginning. Hundreds of thousands of Ohioans will lose their healthcare because they decided to cut their healthcare in order to pay for tax cuts for the super-wealthy."
Landsman has served as U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 1st District since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. He was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and continues to reside there. Landsman graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999.
