U.S. Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district, shared a series of posts on July 29, 2025, addressing developments in humanitarian aid and the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
In his first post, Landsman stated: "It’s a very good thing that the Netanyahu government is surging aid — something I’ve personally pushed the Prime Minister on many times." (July 29, 2025).
He followed up with a call to action regarding Hamas: "Please call out Hamas — every day until they give Gaza back to the Palestinians. They care about what happens on social media. If they believe they are losing support, they are less likely to reject a ceasefire deal (as they continue to do now)." (July 29, 2025).
Landsman also commented on the diversion of humanitarian resources by Hamas: "Hamas has diverted a staggering number of aid trucks to fund their war — aid that was supposed to go to Palestinians." (July 29, 2025).
Greg Landsman has served in Congress since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023 and currently resides in Cincinnati. Born in Cincinnati in 1976, he is an alumnus of Ohio University where he earned his BA in 1999.
