Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on July 31, 2025, highlighting legislative collaborations, support for local industry, and concerns about federal healthcare funding.
In a message acknowledging colleagues for their partnership, Landsman wrote: "Thank you to our co-sponsors: @RepRaulRuizMD, @RepRobinKelly, and @RepDebDingell" (July 31, 2025).
Later that day, he expressed support for a major employer in his district: "Proud to represent @GE_Aerospace in Congress— a company that employs thousands across SW Ohio. Met with their team to discuss how Congress can support their work." (July 31, 2025).
Addressing recent legislative actions impacting healthcare funding, Landsman stated: "They voted to take $1 trillion from the healthcare system. It will hurt people in every state. We’re fighting to restore those dollars and protect what’s at stake — especially here in Ohio." (July 31, 2025).
Landsman has served as the representative for Ohio’s 1st District since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. He was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and continues to reside there. He is an alumnus of Ohio University, where he earned his BA in 1999.
