Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, addressed the ongoing discussion surrounding the Epstein files in a series of posts on August 7, 2025.

In his first post, Landsman stated, "What happens next with the Epstein files depends, in large part, on what the press asks the president. " (August 7, 2025).

He followed up by referencing former Communications Director for President Obama: "Former Communications Director for President Obama, @danpfeiffer laid out eight questions that reporters should be asking Donald Trump about Jeffrey Epstein… https://t.co/w85ltFgnul" (August 7, 2025).

In a third post on the same day, Landsman commented on public sentiment regarding accountability among influential individuals: "The American people are so tired of the super-powerful and the uber-wealthy doing all of these terrible things and getting away with it… and being protected by other powerful people."

Landsman's remarks come amid continued public interest in the release and investigation of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. The congressman has served as Ohio’s 1st District representative since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. Born in Cincinnati in 1976, Landsman is an alumnus of Ohio University and continues to reside in Cincinnati.
