UPDATE: This class is full; Blue Ash Police Department offers free women’s self defense class

City of Blue Ash recently issued the following announcement.

This self-defense class is full.  The Police Department wishes to thank the community for the overwhelming response. Stay tuned for information on future classes.

(January 5, 2022 - Blue Ash)

The Blue Ash Police Department will be hosting a free five-week class that will teach unarmed women how to defend themselves from an attacker.

Participants will learn self-defense techniques including striking, escaping chokes, and defending themselves on the ground.  

Classes will be held on February 6, 13, 20, 27, and March 6 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Ahn’s Taekwondo, 11100 Kenwood Road.

Space is limited to 30 participants. Additional inquiries will be placed on a waiting list for future classes.
