Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio's 1st district since 2023, shared a series of tweets addressing recent political developments and economic concerns. Landsman, who succeeded Steve Chabot in Congress, has been vocal about issues impacting his constituents and the nation.

On January 20, 2025, Landsman highlighted a significant legislative achievement involving Social Security. He tweeted: "How one of our constituents helped pass the largest expansion to Social Security in decades…" This tweet suggests active constituent involvement in legislative processes leading to substantial changes in Social Security policy.

The following day, on January 21, 2025, he addressed the aftermath of events surrounding January 6. He expressed concern over priorities not aligning with public expectations: "Instead of lowering prices and fixing the border, Day One was about Jan 6. They stormed the Capitol. Tried to throw out your votes. Attacked police officers. People died. Now, all pardoned. This is not what people voted for…" This statement reflects his disapproval of actions taken concerning those involved in the January 6 events.

Later that day, Landsman commented on economic issues juxtaposed with political decisions: "Gas is $3, eggs are $4. Yet, this is Trump’s priority. Again, this …not what Americans voted for. A huge mistake, and a betrayal of law enforcement and our Constitution." Here he criticized former President Trump's focus as misaligned with pressing economic challenges faced by Americans.
