Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio's 1st district, has recently shared a series of tweets addressing concerns about antisemitism and far-right activities on the social media platform X. Landsman, who succeeded Steve Chabot in Congress in 2023, is known for his active engagement on issues related to social justice and equality.

On January 22, 2025, Congressman Landsman tweeted: "Since taking over X, antisemitism on the platform has risen by 105%." This statement reflects his concern about the increasing presence of antisemitic content on the platform.

In another tweet posted shortly after, he noted that users have adopted a Nazi slogan: "They’ve adopted a Nazi slogan 'Lügenpresse' or 'lying press'." This highlights his alarm over the use of historically charged language that has been associated with propaganda and misinformation.

Further elaborating on these concerns, Landsman accused Elon Musk of supporting Germany's far-right party. He stated: "Elon is actively backing Germany’s far-right party and even hosted a live X event for party leaders." He emphasized the extreme nature of this political faction without providing additional details in the tweet.
