Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of tweets addressing personal inspiration and international humanitarian concerns. Born in Cincinnati in 1976, Landsman has been serving in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Steve Chabot.

On March 21, 2025, Congressman Landsman posted about a tattoo inspired by Ezzard Charles, known as "the Cincinnati Cobra." He explained the personal significance of this inspiration: "Ezzard Charles, 'the Cincinnati Cobra' inspired another one of my tattoos. It’s a reminder to not swing at everything. Take a step back, evaluate, and when you’re ready – go."

Later that day, Landsman expressed his concern over the abduction of children from Ukraine by Russia. In his tweet he stated: "Over 30,000 children have been stolen from Ukraine by Russia. It’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to believe." He also mentioned efforts underway to help return these children to their homes.

In another tweet posted simultaneously on March 21, 2025, Landsman emphasized the importance of data for these efforts: "Without this data, we can’t bring these children home."
