Congressman Greg Landsman, currently serving Ohio's 1st district in the U.S. Congress, has been vocal on social media about key issues affecting Americans. Since replacing former member Steve Chabot in 2023, Landsman has addressed economic and healthcare challenges through his online platform.
On May 11, 2025, Landsman expressed his concerns regarding tariffs. He stated that "Targeted tariffs can work, but sweeping tariffs on everything are terrible for families, small businesses, farmers, and our economy." He emphasized the need for Congressional Republicans to reclaim trade authority and suggested readiness to create bipartisan solutions.
The following day, May 12, he highlighted an impending healthcare battle with a tweet: "How this fight to save healthcare will play out this week." This post alluded to ongoing legislative debates over healthcare policies.
Later that day, Landsman elaborated on the healthcare issue by announcing the start of related hearings. He tweeted: "The fight to save healthcare begins in full tonight... Hearings begin Tuesday at 2PM." He criticized plans that would reduce healthcare access for millions while funding tax cuts for the wealthy. His message called for opposition until such plans are abandoned.
Landsman was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1976 and resides there today. A graduate of Ohio University with a BA earned in 1999, he continues to focus on representing his constituents' interests in Congress.
