Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio's 1st district since 2023, recently expressed his concerns on Twitter regarding healthcare policy changes. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1976 and a graduate of Ohio University, Landsman has been vocal about issues affecting his constituents.

On May 12, 2025, Congressman Landsman criticized cuts to reproductive healthcare funding and Planned Parenthood through Project 2025. He described these actions as "taking healthcare from women" and labeled them as "terrible." "Cuts funding for reproductive healthcare and Planned Parenthood. Project 2025. Taking healthcare from women. Terrible."

In another tweet on the same day, he addressed the impact of increased paperwork and rules on Medicaid coverage for low-income individuals. He argued that these changes would make healthcare less accessible by increasing red tape rather than effectively managing eligibility. "Makes it harder for low-income people to get on and keep their Medicaid coverage because of extra paperwork and rules."

Furthermore, Congressman Landsman highlighted the removal of regulations requiring a minimum number of nurses at nursing homes. He expressed concern that this change would negatively affect seniors and families dependent on such facilities due to existing understaffing issues. "Gets rid of rules requiring a minimum number of nurses at nursing homes."

Greg Landsman's remarks underscore his commitment to advocating for accessible healthcare services for all citizens.
