Congressman Greg Landsman, who has been serving Ohio's 1st district since 2023, expressed his concerns on several issues through a series of tweets on July 2, 2025. These posts reflect his stance on educational funding, international relations, and domestic legislation.

In a tweet posted at 13:50 UTC, Landsman criticized the decision to withhold funds from schools. He stated, "Our schools need more help with after-school learning, not less. At a time when we need to help students catch up, Trump is withholding their funds. Absolutely terrible…and unlawful."

Later that day at 17:34 UTC, Landsman addressed international relations by commenting on the situation in Ukraine. He remarked that "Putin is counting on us to abandon Ukraine. Abandoning our allies puts lives at risk, hurts our national security, and doesn’t bring us closer to peace."

Finally, at 22:07 UTC, he expressed his opposition to a legislative proposal without specifying its content. He succinctly urged action by stating "This is a terrible bill. Kill the bill. Not Americans."

Greg Landsman's career in Congress began after replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. Born in Cincinnati in 1976 and an alumnus of Ohio University with a BA earned in 1999, Landsman continues to reside in Cincinnati while representing his constituents.
