Congressman Greg Landsman, who has been representing Ohio's 1st district since 2023, shared a series of tweets on July 3, 2025, addressing several pressing issues. His posts highlighted concerns over food assistance cuts, the removal of clean energy investments, and the defunding of Planned Parenthood.

In his first tweet, Landsman stated that "3.5 million people will lose food assistance from SNAP cuts. Children, seniors, and veterans will go hungry." This tweet underscores the potential impact on vulnerable populations due to reductions in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

Landsman's subsequent post addressed environmental and economic implications: "Billions in clean energy investments are gone. It ends tax credits for wind, solar, electric vehicles, energy-efficient homes and other investments in a ton of projects." The Congressman expressed concern over the cessation of financial incentives for sustainable energy initiatives.

In another tweet made on the same day, Landsman commented on healthcare services: "It defunds Planned Parenthood. Clinics across the country – even in blue states – will close. This is healthcare for millions of women." Here he highlights the potential closure of clinics nationwide as a result of funding cuts to Planned Parenthood.
