Greg Landsman calls for Epstein file release and celebrates passage of cybersecurity bill

Congressman Greg Landsman, who has represented Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, recently shared several updates via social media regarding legislative initiatives and government transparency. Landsman, born in Cincinnati in 1976 and an Ohio University graduate, succeeded Steve Chabot as representative of the district.

On July 14, 2025, Congressman Landsman announced his support for a call to release information related to Jeffrey Epstein. In his post he stated: "Signed on. Release the Epstein files."

The following day, July 15, 2025, Landsman highlighted progress on cybersecurity legislation with bipartisan support. He posted: "Our bipartisan bill, the Understanding Cybersecurity of Mobile Networks Act, passed the House. Foreign adversaries are actively working to divide us -this bill will strengthen our communications systems, critical to national security and keeping Americans safe."

Greg Landsman has served in Congress since 2023 after replacing Steve Chabot as representative of Ohio’s 1st District. Born and residing in Cincinnati, he earned his BA from Ohio University in 1999.
