Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his recent activities and views through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) between August 18 and August 19, 2025.
On August 18, Landsman reflected on a recent community engagement: "Had a great conversation with folks at our town hall in Warren County this weekend. People are frustrated and want leaders who can meet this moment. That’s exactly what our Pledge to America is about – clear priorities and a plan to move us forward."
The following day, he described a visit to an educational institution focused on vocational training: "Great time touring the Warren County Career Center and meeting students and faculty. Nearly a thousand students are getting hands-on experience in the trades, setting them up for good jobs after finishing their degree." This post highlighted efforts to provide practical job skills for young people in his district.
Later that same day, Landsman commented on international affairs by posting: "This is Putin’s war. Strength — not appeasement — is the only way to end it."
Landsman has represented Ohio’s 1st District since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. He was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and continues to reside there. Landsman earned his BA from Ohio University in 1999.
