Greg Landsman addresses trade policy and highlights constituent service wins

U.S. Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district, posted a series of updates on his official social media account addressing trade policy and constituent services.

On August 19, 2025, Landsman commented on ongoing trade disputes, stating: "The trade wars have failed. Costs are going up. America is becoming even more unaffordable. This ends when Congress takes its tariff authority back."

The following day, August 20, he shared a casework success story involving a constituent from Hamilton County: "Casework Win! When Judy, a retired teacher from Hamilton County, couldn’t get answers from Social Security about her new benefits under the Social Security Fairness Act, she reached out to us. We got her case moving – and now she’s received her full 2024 back pay and"

In an additional post on the same day, Landsman offered assistance to others needing help with federal agencies: "Need help with a federal agency? We’re here to help. "

Landsman has represented Ohio's 1st congressional district since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. He was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and continues to reside there. He graduated from Ohio University in 1999.
