Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed concerns about national security, economic policy, and his legislative work through a series of posts on social media.
On August 25, 2025, Landsman criticized recent changes in military leadership, stating: "He’s fired senior generals and put someone who texted war plans in a group chat in charge of the department. We’re less safe because of that chaos — no matter what he calls it."
In another post dated August 26, 2025, Landsman commented on actions involving the central bank and federal reserve: "It’s all vendetta-driven with him. Playing politics with the central bank and federal reserve hurts our economy. He doesn’t care. So outrageous."
Later that day, Landsman shared details about his participation in a new discussion series: "Joined the first episode of Capitol Conversations to discuss: Congress’s August district work period Meeting and listening to folks back home Finding bipartisan wins"
Landsman has served as a member of Congress since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023 and represents constituents from Ohio's 1st District. Born in Cincinnati in 1976, he continues to reside there and holds a BA from Ohio University.
